Brad Muir leaves Double Fine to join Valve

Double Fine project lead Brad Muir has left the company to take on an unspecified role at Valve.

Muir announced the news onTwitter, revealing his last day at Double Fine came last week and his first day at Valve will take place in December.

It’s unclear what exactly Muir will be working on for Valve, but he clarified he’s "definitely still making games" at his new job.

Muir moves on from a dozen years with Double Fine, where he led development on Iron Brigade, Brazen and the relatively recently Kickstarted Massive Chalice.
