Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta on PS4 launches next month

Treyarch has announced the multiplayer beta test for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will start next month on PlayStation 4.

The studio revealed the news onTwitter, stating the PS4 version will kick things off on August 19th. Multiplayer beta tests for Xbox One and PC will arrive sometime after that, with the developer promising more info soon.

Anyone that pre-orders the game will get automatic access to the beta, though it’s worth noting that PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game won’t be participating in the test.

Treyarch is also gearing up to debut Black Ops III Zombies this week at a San Diego Comic-Con panel hosted by Treyarch’s Zombie director Jason Blundell and lead writer Craig Houston.

Black Ops III officially launches worldwide on November 6th.
