CDC expands to Japan

Chinese games firm CDC Games has established new subsidiary CDC Games Japan in a bid to grow the user base of its MMO title Gemfighter (AKA Minna de Battle in Japan).

The company is targeting plenty of global activity – it recently opened a US office and has licensed a variety of online games for release around the world.

The company has also appointed Jeffrey Longoria as president of CDC International – he moves over from sister firm CDC Software.
