Robert Troughton reunited with Terence Burns and Joe Tidmarsh

Coconut Lizard hires former Epic Games UK devs

UK developer Coconut Lizard has announced two new hires as former Unreal Engine developers join the team.

Terence Burns and Joe Tidmarsh both take on the role of senior programmers. They have previously worked with founder Robert Troughton at Pitbull Studio, which later became Epic Games UK.

“I’ve worked with Terry and Joe for many years now,” says Troughton. “Both joined Pitbull in the early days, working on Unreal Engine and associated projects, then becoming part of the Epic Games team following our acquisition.

“They were very important to that transition happening and, so, it’s of course a fantastic win for Coconut Lizard that they’ve joined the team here.”

Troughton formed Coconut Lizard when he left Epic Games UK last year. The studio is currently working on Boss Key Productions’ Law Breakers, which is built on Unreal Engine 4.
