Crysis firm rolls out agile and lean software dev tool

Crytek signs to use Hansoft

Hansoft has signed up Crytek as its latest customer.

The German HQ’d studio will use the firm’s eponymous tools for project management and quality assurance for agile and lean software development.

“As a constantly growing company with multiple studio locations and external partners we needed a flexible Project Management tool that supports our approach of agile development. At Crytek each Project Team lives agile development in a different way,” said Sebastian Nell, Producer, Crytek.

“With Hansoft we found the right tool to support different team structures with individual configuration and setup, fitting their needs perfectly. In comparison to other solutions, Hansoft reduces the overhead for each team member and gives us more time and freedom to do what we do best – raise the bar in quality and innovation.”

Patric Palm, Hansoft CEO, added: “We have always focused on the needs of complex projects with sometimes distributed development and we are really happy to be working with such a fast growing and exiting company as Crytek.

“With the newly released Hansoft 6.0 we have taken things even further by simplifying everyday work to make development and QA more efficient, helping studios ship better games faster and reduce project risks.”
