Days Gone claims third consecutive UK No.1

Another week, another No.1 for Days Gone as retail has been incredibly quiet once again. The release of Rage 2 tomorrow should shake things up in next week’s charts though. Physical sales for Sony’s title were down 52 per cent week-on-week for this third week in the charts, following on a 60 per cent drop last week.

Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat 11 remained at No.2 with the release of the Switch version not giving it enough of a boost to make it to the top spot. Sales for Warner Bros’ fighting title dropped 21 per cent week-on-week, with 48 per cent of the sales going to PS4, 30 per cent going to the Switch and 22 per cent going to Xbox One.

The rest of the Top Ten is mostly unchanged compared to last week.

Meanwhile, Marvel’s Spider-Man climbed 13 spots to No.11, with sales going up 66 per cent week-on-week, likely boosted by promotions as well as the continued success of Avengers in cinemas and the new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer that released last week.

There was only one new entry in the charts this week: Deep Silver’s Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package, which debuted at No.15.

Here’s the Top Ten for the week ending May 11th (data courtesy of GfK/Ukie):
