Del Toro reveals InSane for 2013

New horror game InSane has been confirmed and will arrive in 2013 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The title is being produced by Red Faction developer Volition Inc and overseen by film director Guillermo del Toro, known for his work on the Hellboy films and cult hit Pan’s Labyrinth.

InSane was revealed at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards this weekend.

THQ EVP of core games Danny Bilson said on Twitter: Finally announced Insane – I’ve been working with Guillermo del Toro for six months. Just finished the story beats yesterday.

It won’t compare to other games – that is our mission.”

Other announcements at the VGAs included the official reveals of new upcoming titles including Sony’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, EA’s Mass Effect 3, Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and more.
