Develop Awards nominations close this week

Look at it. You want it, don’t you? You want its shiny, glory, d-ness and the shiny, glory it brings with it. Know how you get one? You have to win. Know what prevents you from winning? Not being nominated.

The deadline for all nominations is 5pm UK timeon Wednesday, April 13th. That’s this week. Two days away. 48 hours.

You can nominate your peers, your partners, your rivals or even yourselves for the awards, spread across four categories: Creativity, Tech & Services, Studio and Special Awards. The latter are chosen by the Develop team, but there are still 18 prizes for you to win on the night.

And let’s not forget that, if you’re a finalist, you’ll be in the room with this year’s Development Legend winner: the one and only Hideo Kojima.

You can read our full guide on how to nominate here. Check which ones you’re elligible for, then simply email developawards@nbmedia.com with the following:

  • The name of the studio/game and which award you’re entering it for
  • A 350-word pitch on why they should win
  • Any links/videos that might help your submissions

Again, send these in before 5pm UK timeon Wednesay, April 13th. Seriously.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole on Wednesday, July 13th during Develop: Brighton 2016.

This year’s awards are supported by headline partner CV Bay, gold partners MoGI Group, Amiqus, Epic Games, Sumo Digital, Crytek, King, table gift partner OPM Jobs, exclusive drinks reception partner Keywords Studios, and event partner Tandem Events. Epic Games are also an award partner, as are Aardvark Swift.
