Conference returns to Britain's South Coast for a tenth year

Develop: Brighton opens call for speakers

The organisers of the annual Develop conference in Brighton is seeking speaker submissions for potential talks at this year’s event.

The call for speakers is open to any studios that have something to say on any of Develop: Brighton’s ten tracks, such as the IndieDev day aimed at start-ups and independent developers and Evolve: Brighton, which focuses on new technologies and trends.

Develop: Brighton 2015 will mark the conference’s tenth anniversary and takes place from Tuesday July 14th to Thursday July 16th at the Hilton Metropole in Brighton.

You can find out how to submit your proposal at www.developconference.com, and organisers Tandem Events says it is keen to find brand new speakers for this year’s event.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, March 19th.

"Over the past ten years, we’ve hosted some of the biggest names in the development community as speakers," said Tandem Events MD Andy Lane. "Mark Cerny, Phil Harrison, Dave Perry, TIm Schafer, Ian Livingstone, David Braben and Peter Molyneux are industry legends who have shaped our industry and have shared their experiences down by the beach.

"To kickstart the next ten years, we are eager to hear from the next generation of developers, using new technology and techniques that will mould and move the developer community forward. If you haven’t spoken at Develop: Brighton before but have a story to tell, we want to hear from you."
