1,500 developers expected to attend, with tracks available in art, audio, business, coding, design and education

Develop in Brighton issues call for speakers

The call for speakers has gone out for the Develop Conference in Brighton, with final deadline for submissions on March 30th.

The event, now in its seventh year, is expected to attract over 1,500 developers from 20 territories.

Tracks at the conference are to include art, audio, business, coding, design, education and production.

There will also be an Indie dev day showcasing the latest projects in the bustling sector, and Evolve, which will focus on how to develop games for new and emerging platforms.

“The Develop Conference is all about real developers tackling the issues, tools, tricks and techniques of game development, so we really want to offer developers a chance to come and talk about what’s important to them today,” said MD Andy Lane of conference organiser Tandem Events.

“Each year we receive more and more submissions for talks and we’re expecting a good response again this year as there’s lots of hot topics for 2012 like game bundling; IPTV; iPad and Android game dev; funding models and winning over VCs and of course next-gen consoles.”

The event will take place between July 10th and 12th at the Hilton Metropole in Brighton.

To apply to be a speaker, you can enter a submission at the Develop Conference website here.
