Entain8 brings expansion plans forward to ‘rescue industry’

Entain8, a UK based sales and distribution company included in the Alten8 Media Group, has announced it will be bringing its previous expansion plans forward after

the loss of EUK

has left several retailers without an avenue of distribution.

The company’s CEO Kay Parbat said: In the light of sad news of various industry peer companies going into administration in recent times, we are bringing forward our already planned expansion within the UK sales and distribution arena.

Working with our logistical partner Trilogy, we are trying to assist, with companies now left without sales and distribution within the UK, and welcome contact form any companies, who would like us to represent them from the games, audio and DVD industry, as we expand our sales team further across the UK.

With trading accounts and relationships already in place with all key online and retail players, we feel we are ideally placed to work with publishers who would like focus, and realistic sales, achieved in the current economic climate.”

Paul Andrews, CEO of Alten8, added: We are already interviewing high quality, industry wide known staff, from some of the companies which have sadly recently failed within the UK. These high quality individuals will compliment our existing staff as we evolve.

We are confident our tried and tested way of working, which has seen us not only remain within the UK, but actually expand over the past 12 months, has proven to be the right way of moving forward and adapting to the current, and future ways the entertainment market is moving towards.

Long gone are the days of easy sells and comfy chairs, we understand that a mixture of retail, online and digital products are the way forward, as are realistic targets, and realistic prices for all parties in the chain, from publishers and retailers to consumers.

We welcome interest from all parties, with regards to publishers and staff, who are interested in our rapid, but measured growth, and would like to be par of this.”
