Codemasters’ F1 2016 has finished in pole position in its first week on shelves.
The title launched five weeks later than its predecessor, F1 2015, with Week One sales down 32 per cent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Sony’s indie darling No Man’s Sky dropped to second place with a sales decline 81 per cent.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens rose one place to No.3 with sales rising 13 per cent. This was due to retail promotions.
Overwatch drops one place to No.4, while Grand Theft Auto falls to No.5 with a 36 per cent dip in sales.
Rocket League holds steady at sixth place ahead of FIFA 16, which maintains its No.7 ranking.
