Former Eidos COO Jonathan Kemp is the new CEO of Team Dignitas

Team Dignitas has appointed Jonathan Kemp as its new CEO after being purchased by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Kemp is perhaps best known around these parts as being the former Chief Operating Officer for Eidos, although he has also worked in marketing and on the Olympics.

His new role will see him work alongside Dignitas president Michael O’Dell and vice president Michael Slan, while overseeing everything that the organisation does.

With the financial support of the 76ers, and all the extra sporting advantages that will bring Dignitas is positioning itself to be the best eSports organisation in the world. Now they just need to sign that Dota team ODEE is always going on about.

It is my goal to ensure that we continue to field winning teams and that we work closely with the passionate Team Dignitas fans,” said Team Dignitas Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Kemp. I look forward to working with Michael O’Dell and Michael Slan on the team side and collaborating with the Philadelphia 76ers and Greg Richardson on strategy and business operations. With our combination of player and executive talent, a legendary team, and the support, infrastructure and connections of the Philadelphia 76ers and their ownership group, I am confident we will be successful together.”
