UK retailer GAME has revealed exactly what it has planned for its special Gears of War 3 midnight opening event at its London Oxford Street store next Monday night.
Carlos Ferro, war veteran and the voice of Dom Santiago, will be in attendance to meet fans of the game.
Limited edition posters signed by the game’s devs as well as t-shirts and memorabilia will be dished out to fans on a fist come first served basis. Those in attendance will also have the chance to win one of five 40” Samsung Smarty LED TVs.
In total 258 GAME outlets and 170 Gamestations will open their doors at just before midnight on the night of Monday September 19th.
With over 400 stores opening at midnight to celebrate the launch of Gears of Wars 3, we’re ‘gearing’ up for what is set to be one of our most explosive nights of gaming yet,” GAME’s head of PR Neil Ashurst stated.
Gears of Wars has proven to be a blockbuster series for fans and we’re excited to be giving them the earliest chance to pick up a copy.”
GAME’s midnight openings form part of the 20,000 global retail events Microsoft says have been planned to usher in the arrival of Gears of War 3.
