Games First event announced for London in January 2018

Tickets are now available for Games First in London on the 17th of January. This will be the first time the event, which has enjoyed several successful years in Helsinki, will be held in the UK. The conference is specifically for developers only, so should be a good place to network as well as take in the various talks as well as an Indie Game Fayre, which will take place after the conference.

You’ll not need to reach into your pocket to attend Game First, as tickets are free. The event takes place at the Congress Centre in Bloomsbury, London, and the day’s current line up consists of panels and talks discussing emerging trends, gaming cities and defining a genre. The full list can be found on the events listing page, where you can also grab your tickets.

With the Game Fayre, the organisers hope to be “showcasing the best of London’s Indie Games scene”, which could well include your game. Indie developers looking to showcase their games should purchase the special ‘indie developer’ ticket from the booking site. For those not showcasing, the organisers promise “drinks and snacks” while you look at some cool London-developer games. Presumably drinks and snacks will be available for those showcasing too.

You can follow the event on social media (in both Facebook and Twitter flavours) to keep abreast of, heh, developments. That one never gets old, does it?
