Gamescom 2017 tickets now on sale

Gamescom tickets are now on sale at the Gamescom Ticket Shop. This year, Europe’s biggest games show runs from Tuesday August 22nd (or Wednesday 23rd for members of the public) until Saturday August 26th in Cologne, Germany, and for the first time ever a limited number of early bird day tickets will be available at a reduced price in the Gamescom Ticket Shop for each day of the show, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Once the early bird tickets for each day have sold out, the advance sale prices will come into effect. Each buyer will be limited to a maximum of five tickets each day.

Another change for 2017 is that day tickets can also be purchased in the form of a code from participating Saturn outlets. These codes must then be transformed into a day ticket in the Ticket Shop.

In addition to the early bird tickets, a limited number of ‘pre-entry tickets’ will be available for the show’s public Wednesday and Thursday sessions, giving gamers an extra hour on the show floor from 9am instead of the usual 10am entry. There will also be a reserved contingent of family tickets. These will provide access for two parents or legal guardians and at least two children between the ages of 7 and 11.

Of course, trade visitor tickets are also available online. In addition to day tickets, 3-day tickets for trade visitors will also be available in the online Ticket Shop, giving access from Tuesday to Thursday. Early bird prices also apply here, but much like previous years, each trade visitor ticket is issued to a specific person and cannot be transferred to another attendee.

As in previous years, private visitor day tickets for the show are available for advance sale as long as supplies last, and box office sales on location will only take place when the day tickets in the online Ticket Shop haven’t sold out in advance. Valid ticket holders will also be able to use Cologne’s public transport networks VRR and VRS to arrive and depart the show free of charge.
