PS4 and Xbox One versions add new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects and more

Grand Theft Auto V next-gen visual overhaul detailed

Rockstar Games has offered a few more details on what it has added to the next generation editions of Grand Theft Auto V.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be released on November 18th, with a PC version to follow on January 27th, and all three will feature enhanced visuals and a technical upgrade over last year’s best-selling SKUs.

In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolutions, Rockstar has promised a brand new foliage system, and enhanced damage and weather effects, making using of the more powerful hardware available in the latest consoles.

Improved computing in these platforms will also allow for denser traffic and additional wildlife, bringing even more life the fictional area of Blaine County.

The world of last year’s GTA V was already impressive, and no doubt many will be keen to see how this enhanced version looks come November.
