Haggar, Spider-Man, Frank West and the Nemesis confirmed for MvC:I at SDCC

Four new characters were confirmed for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite last night at an SDCC panel.

Final Fight’s Haggar, the professional wrestler turned Metro City Mayor, will be showing that he’s still the mayor of pain, while Dead Rising’s Frank West has a series of unique mechanics, levelling up during the fight and pulling out jury rigged weapons.

These two weren’t listed on a May leak that purported to contain the finalised roster of fighters, meaning there could be more surprises in the run up to launch.

Resident Evil 3’s Nemesis and Marvel’s friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man were both listed in the leak and have been confirmed however. Nemesis has a rocket launcher and some gross tentacles, and let’s assume Spider-Man uses webs.

That or a horde of spiders pouring out of every orifice, marching forwards to consume the enemy for the glory of the Spider-Man.

Here’s the footage we do have, but it’s from off-screen and not official, so watch it before Disney get it pulled, I suppose.
