Indian national team included in FIFA 13

The Indian national team, which recently beat Cameroon to lift the Nehru Cup, has surprisingly been included in in the list of national teams in FIFA 13, as revealed by a list on the FIFA Soccer Blog.

It’s unclear if the Indian team has been licensed or if it will include the current roster of players.

The other new national teams in FIFA 13 are Bolivia, Czech Republic, Paraguay and Venezuela. Also new this year is the inclusion of Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Pro League.

While the Indian team has been featured in FIFA World Cup games in the past, this is the first time it is being included in a mainline FIFA game since FIFA 98: Road to the World Cup.

FIFA 13 is scheduled for release on 28th September across multiple platforms.
