Mobile and online gaming gets advertising network

iVenture Capital launches Traffic Captain

Investment firm iVenture Capital has launched its own advertising network for online and mobile games.

The company has been putting more resources into the games industry, and has three games companies in its portfolio: MobileBits, Farbflut Entertainment, and Infernum.

Now the company is taking what it considers the next logical step, by adding advertising support to its arsenal in ensuring its partners succeed.

“TrafficCaptain allows us to combine our expertise in qualified web traffic generation with the expert knowledge that our games campaign specialists bring to the table," said Michael Reul, co-founder and Senior Partner at iVentureCapital.

"Our common goal is not only to achieve good conversion rates, but above all to attract high customer lifetime value players, thus making Traffic Captain market leader in performance based advertising within the games segment. In short: TrafficCaptain offers customers greatly enhanced games campaigns, with better service and higher profits than other networks can provide.”

The network will target international markets, with a focus on Western Europe and North America.

There are few advertising networks that specifically target mobile games, and iVenture is confident it is providing a needed service.

“We engage in a proactive dialogue with our customers," said TrafficCaptain’s Network Director, Sven Hezel. "We work closely with our advertisers to determine the USPs in games campaigns to achieve a maximum return on investment. At the same time, we will continuously optimize all ongoing campaigns for high eCPMs and traffic quality by individual sources.”
