Journey soundtrack nominated for Grammy

Austin Wintory’s Journey soundtrack has been nominated for the "best score soundtrack" Grammy.

The prestigious award ceremony recognizes outstanding musical contributions, and this year’s list of six nominations in the category include Hans Zimmer’s Dark Night Rises and John Williams’s Tintin soundtrack.

Though Christopher Tin’s Baba Yetu from Civilization IV took a best song award at the 2011 Grammys, this is the first time a game has recieved recognition for its entire soundtrack.

"Well I don’t really have words right now," said Wintory over Twitter.
