Konami patches PC PES 2008

It shot straight to number one in the ChartTrack All Formats Top 40 this week, but online lag problems have dogged Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 – now the publisher has released a patch to address to address the problems in the PC version of the title.

The patch not only addresses the online juddering, but also ensures that the power bar builds up smoothly and corrects some faulty in-game text.

Console owners, however, will have to wait for Konami to release patches for their versions of the title. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game have experienced some online problems, as well as some offline issues with things such as replays.
