Konami strikes Euro deal with Hudson Soft

Konami Digital Entertainment has confirmed that it will be the distributor for Hudson Soft’s upcoming line-up of Wii and DS titles in Europe.

Though none of the games have yet been named, it is known that they include sports titles, family-friendly offerings and some new IP.

The extended partnership between Konami and Hudson Soft is certain to be a hugely beneficial one,” Konami Europe president Kunio Neo stated.

Our many European offices offer all the necessary tools and skill-sets needed to raise awareness and launch Hudson Soft’s exciting titles. The innovation of the forthcoming releases also fits well within Konami’s diverse portfolio, making the deal a perfect two-way operation.”

Hudson Soft’s Hiromi Tomisawa added: We are delighted to be working with Konami as we look to introduce Hudson Soft titles to a much wider audience. Konami’s pan-European operation is incredibly strong and we look forward to a close working relationship as we introduce our new titles to European games players.”
