Tongue-in-cheek strategy puzzler is new studio's first title

LCD Dreams making Dungeon Keeper-inspired mobile game

LCD Dreams, a new independent mobile game studio, has opened in San Jose, USA.

The studio was founded to “fill the gap that exists between the social and hardcore” games on mobile devices.

LCD is creating mobile games for multiple platforms, including iOS and Android.

The first title LCD is working on is Evil Master Overlord, a 3D real-time dungeon defence game that is heavily inspired by strategy and puzzle games, such as Dungeon Keeper and Tetris.

In the tongue-in-cheek strategy puzzle game, players build their own dungeon while defending themselves from being attacked by heroes. Dungeons are built using items that come down one at a time in a queue: various wall shapes, traps, barriers and minions.

Coinciding with the reveal of the first game, LCD has launched a website which will act as a central hub for information about the game.

“We are extremely excited to launch this website”, said Chris Keswani, co-founder and CEO of LCD Dreams.
“This launch is only the first step in bringing the Evil Master Overlord experience to our fans.”

The game will be available on iOS and Android platforms.
