Local multiplayer and new map hitting Goat Simulator in June

Coffee Stain Studios’ cult hit Goat Simulator is to be the recipient of an extensive – and free – DLC release next month.

The game’s 1.1 patch on June 3rd will add local multiplayer for up to four players as well as a brand new map which is roughly equal in size the game’s current map.

Also on the way is wall-running and balancing on your front legs”, the ability to to ride bicycles and skateboards, and force humans to ride you” and new playable goats, including Tornado Goat, Shopping Goat, Classy Goat and Repulsive Goat”.

The screenshots released by the studio also show what appears to be a penguin in action.

We realise we said we’d release the patch in May, but we really wanted to shock players and make sure the new map will be even better than the old one, so we had to push forth the release date a week or so than we originally intended,” designer Armin Ibrisagic said.

With June 3rd as a release date, the new map is gonna be so awesome, and I’m not just saying that cause I’m working on the game.”

Goat Simulator will be released in a box in the UK this Friday (May 23rd).
