Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition dated in UK

The Vita version of Minecraft finally has a release date in the UK and Europe.

4J Studios says the game has now passed its final certification (something that the PS4 version failed to do on its first effort) and will be released on October 15th.

This is for the digital version, of course. The game may receive a physical release at a later stage although details of that are yet to be revealed.

A release date for North America hasn’t yet been confirmed, although 4J hopes it will be soon”.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer said in September that new Mojang owner Microsoft will continue to make Minecraft available across iOS, Android and PlayStation” alongside Xbox and PC.
