My Memory of Us adds Sir Patrick Stewart as narrator

My Memory of Us, the upcoming title from Juggler Games set in a Jewish Ghetto during the Second World War, has added legendary British thespian Sir Patrick Stewart as narrator.

The side scrolling puzzle game uses a graphical style reminiscent of Disney cartoons and presents players with a child-like view of the horrors of pre-Second World War Warsaw. A young boy and girl become friends, war breaks out, and they realise they are much stronger together than apart – and with each other they may be able to survive the anti-Semitism and occupation of the period.

Stewart’s addition to the game adds a bit of gravitas to the project, naturally, with his involvement called ‘the perfect choice’. You can hear some of his contributions to the project in the latest trailer:

“The story of My Memory of Us is a personal one to us, as our grandparents faced similar oppression World War II. This game is our ode to them and the millions of others who lived and died during this time,” said Mikołaj Pawłowski, CEO of Juggler Games, “So when it came time to cast a narrator, Patrick Stewart was the perfect choice. His amazing acting career spans nearly six decades, and since the very beginning he has produced incredible and emotional work.

“His talent and skill provides the right mixture of gravitas and hope, and his performance resonates perfectly with our game.”

My Memory of Us is set for launch October 9, and more details can be found on its official website.
