Partners will help curate speakers for Indian dev conference, as well as building relationships with other international firms, for two years

NASSCOM advisory board signs up Sumo, Vlambeer and Samsung

A number of well-known devs and studios are to help Indian development event NASSCOM grow its presence on the world stage.

The National Association of Software and Services Companies announced that it had formed an international advisory board to help curate the speaker lie-up for the NASSCOM GDC, as well as working to establish relationships with other firms such as sponsors and trade bodies.

Among those who will serve on the inaugural board for two years are Sumo Digital’s Carl Cavers, Vlambeer’s Rami Ismail, Samsung’s Ravi Beniwal, Jumpizen’s Mark Skaggs and Media Create’s Sho Sato.

“With an incredible lineup of games industry veterans – whose experience covers every facet of the industry, from triple-A to mobile and beyond – we are excited to announce the formation of the international advisory board for the NASSCOM game developer conference,” said chairman Rajesh Rao.

“The Indian developer community can benefit greatly from getting international exposure, and we can facilitate this with a mix of inbound initiatives like bringing more international participation at NGDC and outbound activities like taking delegations to mature markets.”
