The first round of speakers have been named for this year’s Game Connection Europe.
Naughty Dog’s lead FX artist Keith Guerrette will be at the event to discuss techniques that can be used to create realistic details within game effects, and ArenaNet’s head of global marketing Steve Fowler will analyse how Guild Wars 2 is faring one year later.
Other speakers set to talk at the event include Sony Online Entertainment’s Lind Carlson on testing a beta on the market, Epic Games’ Fred Markus on prototyping with Nintendo and 6waves CEO Arthur Chow, who will discuss the current state of social and mobile gaming.
A series of master classes will also be presented at the event, including Ubisoft writer Richard Dansky offering advice on games writing, and Weta Digital artist Scott Spencer on creature designs with ZBrush.
The business networking event will take place in Paris between December 3rd and December 5th later this year.
