Development execs from around the globe have pledged support for Game Connection.

New advisory board for Game Connection

Forming Game Connection’s first advisory board, the team hail frm Russia to Canada, including representatives from Foundation 9, Rebellion, Konami and Microsoft.

The board will help raise the event’s game as it seeks to grow its events, which offer developers and publishers the chance to arrange a series of meetings in one place. Most recently, organiser Connection Events held an event alongside GDC, with an event in Tokyo is due in September and its big yearly event, Lyon Game Connection, is set for December.

“All the board’s members bring an expertise in creating worldwide development opportunities,” said Kurt Busch, VP of product development at Konami.

“As interactive entertainment production becomes even more globalized, the ability to identify these opportunities becomes even more critical. I am honored to have been asked to join the board as I believe the Game Connection events build positive relationships across the industry, regardless of a company’s size, market or language.”
