‘New DS’ rumour dismissed

Internet speculation has been rife that Nintendo are preparing to announce a new version of the DS at E3 this year, following

comments made

by Enterbrain boss.

Nintendo has denied there is a new DS model in the works and the source of the original rumour Hirokazu Hamamura, Enterbrain president, has joined the denials, stating he never made the comments that sparked the rumour in the first place.

Enterbrain has blamed a misinterpretion of Hamamura’s comments for the erroneous rumour.
