Resident Evil 7 holds top spot, Hitman debuts at No.4

Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 is once again No.1 in the UK charts. The title saw a respectable 68 per cent dip in sales in its second week on shelves. GfK says that one more week at the top of the charts will see the title match the series’ longest run at the No.1 spot, a feat managed by both Resident Evil 3 and 5.

Grand Theft Auto V holds second place with sales dipping just two per cent, while fellow non-mover FIFA 17 is still in third place as sales dip a mere one per cent.

There’s a new title in at No.4, the physical version of 2016 digital episodic release Hitman. This SKU collects the entire first season of Square Enix’s title.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare holds fifth place, with sales rising four per cent due to the launch of the game’s new DLC Sabotage.

The physical SKU of Rocket League saw a 16 per cent sales increase, while Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV rises from No.18 to No.8 with a 19 per cent sales boost due to price promotion.
