Despite previous suggestions that future No Man’s Sky updates would be free, Hello Games has hinted at a possible change in plans.
Studio boss Sean Murray told the Daily Star that such suggestions were "perhaps naive", adding: "Maybe in the future there’s some reason why we just couldn’t possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it".
That wasn’t the only hint, either.
When pressed on the possibility of an Xbox One release for the game, Murray stated that he wasn’t sure what he was "actually allowed to say" and that he had to be "very specific with my words". All of which suggests no” would have been an incorrect answer.
The paper adds that a Sony rep stepped in at that point to move the interview on.
The comments come after recent nosing about in the game’s PC files discovered references to Xbox.
