Pokémon boss confirms Nintendo NX hybrid design

The chief executive of the Pokemon Company has become the first senior industry figure to openly discuss the hybrid design of Nintendo NX.

“The NX is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a hand-held device,” Tsunekazu Ishihara told The Wall Street Journal. “We will make games for the NX.”

MCV revealed in August that a Pokemon title is in development for Nintendo’s new console.

Despite the details of NX having been widely reported and confirmed by many outlets – including MCV – the wider audience continues to speculate as to the accuracy of the claims – doubts that surely now will have been quashed.

MCV has the full story.
