PS4 prices rise in Canada

Sony has increased the cost of its PlayStation 4 console by $50 at Canadian retailers.

A Sony rep confirmed the price bump to the Toronto Sun, stating that the increase is already in effect and in response to "changes in the market environment."

The price of the hardware has gone from $399.99 to $449.99. Additionally, prices for the DualShock 4 controller, PlayStation Camera, and other items are expected to increase as well.

PS4-exclusives, including Infamous: Second Son and MLB 14 The Show, have also increased $10 in price to $69.99.

The adjustments are currently exclusive to Canadian shops. Residents can still get a 500 GB PS4 for $399.99 USD by ordering online via North American stores.
