Multiplayer middleware developer Quazal is celebrating its most successful year ever, with 2007 seeing it triple the number of game sessions served.
The Canadian company, whose middleware line-up includes Net-Z, Rendez-Vous and Spark!, attributes the growth to version upgrades and courting licencees in Europe and Japan.
“Since its formation in 1998, Quazal has experienced continuous growth, financed through revenues and venture capital funding, and is operating profitably,” said Sylvain Beaudry, president of Quazal.
“Thanks both to our loyal long-term customers and the many new licensees in 2007, we now expect to exceed the ambitious goals we have set ourselves for this year. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to all our customers and partners we have successfully been working with in the last few years.”
