Ricardo ‘Boltz’ Prass to replace SK Gaming’s João ‘felps’ Vasconcellos

SK Gaming, one of the most successful Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in 2017, could have a roster shake-up in their near future.

Ricardo ‘Boltz’ Prass, who was a stand-in for SK for their winning run at EPICENTER, is due to replace João ‘felps’ Vasconcellos until January’s Boston Major, and will be playing as a stand-in for the team in every tournament that allows it until that point.

Dot Esports spotted the change, which comes according to tweets from SK’s support player Epitácio "TACO" de Melo, which they’ve translated.

Vasconcellos will be competing in an SK jersey for the remainder of ECS season 4 and January’s Boston Major. However, in all other events where the substitution is possible, Prass will step in.

Rumours that Prass would be replacing Vasconcellos emerged a few weeks ago, suggesting that there were issues in the team stemming from poor performances in recent events. This led to a HLTV report leaking out about the game. Prass is officially still a player for Immortals, and is on loan to SK, but if the transfer becomes permanent it’s expected that he’ll play as a passive site anchor for the team.
