Seven Navy SEALS in trouble for leaking info to Medal of Honor devs

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is out next week. Anyway, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is in the news. Coincidentally, we’re sure.

The Associated Press reports that seven members of the secretive” Navy SEAL Team 6 – one of whom was involved in the mission to capture and kill Osama Bin Laden – have been punished for disclosing classified info to the makers of EA’s game.

They have been chastised for not seeking their commander’s permission to take part in the development of Medal of Honor and for showing Danger Close secretive combat equipment,

All seven have received a punitive letter of reprimand” and had their wages cut for two months. Four other SEALS are under investigation.

And the news is going mainstream, too, with outlets such as The Sun picking it up. Oh how EA must be HATING this.
