New racing title launches on developerâ??s website

SimBin turns to free-to-play model

Swedish independent studio SimBin is adopting the free-to-play model in the latest version of its racing title catalogue.

RaceRoom The Game provides players “access to all of the game’s features” just by registering on the game’s website, according to Spong.

SimBin, founded in 2003, recently finished its first console title – the Atari-published RacePro.

The developer’s CEO Henrik Roos said turning to the free-to-play model “is a special bonus to our faithful racing community and will also attract more people to join the world of sim-racing.”
