Skylanders fans can now trade-in their old Portals of Power at Smyths Toys.
From today customers can swap their old Portals for a 10 voucher that can be used against the Skylanders: Swap Force Starter Pack or any Swap Force figures.
Each new addition in the series comes with its own Portal – the gadget which transports the plastic figures into the game. These are updated to work with both the new and old figures.
As such, a Portal that came with the original Spyro’s Adventures will not work with toys that came out after – but if fans want to use toys from that original title in Swap Force, they can.
The Skylanders games have been a phenomenal success for us that have continued to go from strength to strength with the launch of Skylanders Swap Force,” said Smyths’ marketing manager Dryden Geary. We’re delighted to be able to offer this trade-in programme to our customers.”
The offer is valid until November 18th.
