Sony has detailed plans to close all of its Canadian retail stores within the next two months.
The announcement comes via a press release issued on The Canadian Press and reported on by CBC News, which states the firm will shut down all 14 of its current Canada-based locations.
Five shops within and around Toronto, three within and around Vancouver, three in Alberta, and one each in Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City will close over the next six to eight weeks.”
Sony shut down the majority of its US locations a little under a year ago as part of its plan to sell the company’s Vaio PC business and restructure its TV division.
