Game Connection has revealed the titles shortlisted for its 2016 Development Awards.
More than 170 games were considered for the 12 categories, which include Most Promising IP and the People’s Choice prize.
The ceremony will be held on March 14th at the networking event for studios, publishers and distributors in San Francisco.
Data Realm’s Planetoid Pioneers, Infinigon Games’ Zenith, Gaijin Entertainment’s Crossout, Bad Minions’ Alkimya and Wales Interactive’s Soul Axiom will battle it out for the Best Console/PC Hardcore trophy.
Meanwhile, franchise spin-offs Pac-Man 256 and Lara Croft GO join The Last Word, The Sandbox 2 and Crossout in the Most Promising IP competition.
