Spil invites mobile devs to pitch games at Casual Connect

Spil Games is inviting mobile developers who feel their games didn’t reach their full potential to pitch their title to the firm at next week’s Casual Connect.

Submissions for hidden gems for the Unsung Heroes initiative are currently open. The chosen developers will then get the chance to pitch their game to the publisher, as well as have it available for attendees to play throughout the event. Winners will also receive an iPad.

Spil is planning similar initiatives to promote mobile games under the Unsung Heroes banner throughout the rest of the year.

"In 2015 we have a plan to have 40 mobile games published," read a statement from Spil.

"The games we are focusing on are games aimed at 12-to-24 year olds. We have seen so many amazing titles from various genres so it is exciting for us to see what more is out there. We have open minds and open doors to great, undiscovered content."

To take part in the event, developers can email scott.johnston@spilgames.com for more details.

Casual Connect Europe will take place in Amsterdam between February 4th and 6th,
