Super Evil Megacorp announces $19m funding round for E.V.I.L

Super Evil Megacorp has announced on Tuesday that it’s raised another $19m in their recent funding round.

This has lead to the company doubling studio space and seeking to hire plenty more staff too.

Super Evil Megacorp has now raised $63m, money that they’re pouring into mobile MOBA Vainglory.  This cash will go partially towards this, investing in the game’s forthcoming 5v5 game mode, in addition to spending cash to try and grow out Vainglory’s community.

However, this round of cash is earmarked for developing Super Evil Megacorps E.V.I.L, a proprietary multi-platform console grade engine, rather than a secret evil project hidden behind an acronym. Probably.

In a press release, a spokesperson for the company said: “We’re thrilled with what our engine makes possible today, and we’re excited about how much more we can do for Vainglory and beyond in the days ahead.”
