Deal with city to bring at least 150 new jobs

Take 2 may open Vegas office

Take Two is in talks with the city of Las Vegas about opening a new downtown office.

The Grand Theft Auto publisher would get almost 25,000 square feet of space and $600,000 in exchange for an agreement to stay in the area for seven years and create at least 150 jobs.

The deadline for the deal is December 31.

The Las Vegas redevelopment agency believes the deal would be likely to create 187 direct jobs and as many as 74 indirect jobs.

Though the official documents do not state the purpose of the office, the median estimated wage is $18 an hour, which seems in line with a QA facility.
