Telltale’s Game of Thrones is more expensive on PS4 than Xbox One

It seems that PS4 owners are facing a bigger outlay for Telltale’s new Game of Thrones series than their Xbox One counterparts.

Eurogamer spotted that the Season One Season pass costs 24.99 on PS4 and just 15.99 on Xbox One. Curiously the Xbox One Pass doesn’t include the first episode, but even with that thrown in the total cost rises to just 19.98.

Each individual episode is also more expensive on PS4 – 4.99 versus 3.99.

There’s a similar price disparity with Telltale’s recent Tales from the Borderlands, too.

On PC the Game of Thrones Season Pass, which includes all six episodes, costs 22.99. On PS3 it costs 19.99 while on Xbox 360 all six episodes again cost 19.98.

It’s no surprise, then, that many gamers have chosen to voice their frustrations in the comments section on the PlayStation Blog. There’s also plenty of consternation there concerning the higher prices UK gamers face compared to in the US.
