The Summit returns in June

After expanding into Smash Bros and Counter-Strike, production company Beyond the Summit is returning to its roots with The Summit 7, a Dota 2 competition taking place this June. 

The Summit 7 will run between June 14th and 18th at The Summit house just outside of Los Angeles. $100,000 will be up for grabs, and the usual relaxed Summit style will of course return, hopefully with more players getting involved with the casting side of things. 

Invited teams are yet to be announced, but the first details on the qualifiers have been revealed. There will be EU, NA, SEA and China qualifiers for the competition, with the teams invited to each one listed below. The qualifiers will see two groups of four play a round robin best of three series. The top two teams from each group will then advance to a double elimination bracket with the winner book a place at the LAN finals. The qualifiers are already underway.
