This War of Mine DLC proceeds going to charity

11 bit Studios has teamed up with the War Child Charity for a DLC giveaway.

Owners of indie hit This War of Mine are now able to buy the War Child Charity DLC for either 79p, 6.99 or 14.99. 100 per cent of the money raised will go to the charity.

The content includes a selection of unique street art pieces composed by a selection of artists from across the world including M-City, Gabriel ‘Specter’ Reese, SeaCreative, Emir Cerimovic, Fauxreel and Mateusz Walu?.

Players will then be able to find the artwork scattered throughout the game.

In November it was revealed that the downbeat war survival title recouped its development costs after just two days of availability on Steam, with sales coming from customers spread across 92 countries.

33 per cent of sales came from the US with the UK ranking alongside Germany and Russia as the game’s most popular European territories.54 per cent of buyers are male, with an average age of between 25 and 34 years old. The average game session lasts 82 minutes although one gamer clocked up 15 hours and 58 minutes.

It was revealed over the weekend that the game is now in development for iPad.
