Trade body to discuss how to apply for incentives and the benefits they can bring

TIGA takes UK games tax breaks on the road

TIGA is set to tour the UK to help educate game developers on how they can take advantage of newly introduced tax breaks.

The events, which are free to attend, will take place in towns and cities across the country including Oxford, Sheffield, Newcastle, Leamington Spa, Bath and Edinburgh.

The games trade body and a number of industry experts will discuss how studios can use tax relief to enhance creativity, innovation and improve access to finance. TIGA will also explain how to successfully apply for and claim tax breaks.

“TIGA is focused on helping game developers and digital publishers succeed. So we are organising the TIGA games tax breaks tour to help developers understand how tax relief can unleash the creative and financial potential of their studios, and drive innovation & experimentation in their business," said TIGA CEO Richard Wilson

"We want as many game developers and digital publishers to benefit from games tax breaks and so we are bringing together a range of expert speakers to a range of different locations across the UK.”
