Trilogy outlines ambitious expansion plans for 2008

Trilogy Logisitcs has revealed that it expects the ink to dry on new contracts with publishers next year – and that it is already in advanced discussions with ‘a number’ of major league games firms.

Trilogy managing director Matthew Allen told MCV:
As a company we always said we wanted to work with a limited number of clients and we are not far away from our total target. We are in discussions with a number of publishers and we will be making more announcements in the New Year.”

And the firm has predicted that its Trilogyi service will handle a wider product range than ever before in 2008 – and offer indies even better value.

We are starting to build up a strong relationship with the indies and we will continue to build on this next year and beyond,” added Allen. We will be offering a wider product range next year to help give indies incremental sales.”

Trilogy announced in March that it was to provide telesales, marketing and distribution services to indie stores in the UK with its Trilogyi department – and soon secured exclusive accounts with both Ubisoft and Midway.

The move allowed the firm to expand outside of providing logistics, and to take on the big four distributors of Centresoft, Pinnacle, Gem and Koch.

Setting up Trilogyi was the proudest moment of our year,” added Allen. To see this 18-month project finally launch gave us all a great sense of achievement.

We had to build it on the premise that we may get contracts and clearly a lot of investment had to be committed beforehand.”
